Dr. Eva Dean is a recent transplant to Charlotte/Fort Mill area. After spending more than a decade in Connecticut she decided she had enough of the snowy winters! Dr. Dean was born (a long time ago) in Bulgaria, a beautiful country on the Black Sea Coast. She first attended dental school at the Medical University in Sofia, Bulgaria. After her move to the US, she completed the Doctor of Dental Medicine program at UCONN School of Dental Medicine and went on to specialize in Periodontics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. The post-doctoral residency gave her the first taste of southern hospitality (and weather). Dr. Dean's latest educational achievement is the MBA degree (2019) from the University of the People, Pasadena, CA. She is the recipient of the following educational awards and certifications:
Dr. Dean believes that oral health is absolutely interconnected to overall health and applies a holistic approach to her recommendations for treatment. A special area of interest is the short and long term effect of various cancer treatment modalities on oral and particularly on periodontal health. She is very excited to be part of Ayrsley Family Dentistry!
